6. MAINTENANCE
Modern film scanner units stand out for high life expectancy and low maintenance
expenditure.
Nevertheless, preventive maintenance will be the basis to ensure reliability in ser-
vice and to preserve the value of the film scanner.
This document provides the instructions needed for fast and competent carrying-
out of maintenance works.
